Throughout time and history, gems or crystals have been adorned for one reason or another.  It has been the practice of the past through ancient cultures that by wearing a talisman or amulet this would assist in treating medical ailments.  And it was through the belief of Old Rome that stones wore externally had a positive influence on the body which would serve the wearer in health, protection, and to attract desired virtues.  The power within the crystals and stones have been associated and utilized by many different cultures of the world throughout the ages.  And in today's world, the crystal and stones continue to influence our New Age society.  The use of Crystals or stones can assist the user in Meditation, helping to develop the Intuition, along with enhancing the Dream State, as well as aiding in Healing practices through emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual imbalances.

Crystals come in many shapes and sizes.  The Rough crystals are taken directly from the ground which may have points or terminations and.

The Tumbled stone will have a smooth and polished surface allowing for the brilliance and clarity of the crystal to viewed.

The crystal Clusters have several points attached and can vary in size from very small points to very large points.

Terminated crystal points are naturally formed with a point on one or both ends.

Crystals and stones can be utilized for healing the physical, emotional, mental, psychological and spiritual aspects of being.  They can enhance the energy of our environment through their subtle vibrational energy.

in Spirit Guides

A Spirit Guide is a personal connection with the spirit world.  Our Guides are here to watch over us, help us, and to assist us in understanding our life lessons.  They will assist us in finding our purpose and joy as we journey through this earthly existence.  Our Spirit Guides are always with us and they are there along side of us to guide us, and not to control us.

Many people have more than one Guide that assists and works with them.  For example, if a person does Healing work, they may have a Guide who is specifically connected and working with them in their Healing work.  If an artist paints, they too may have a Guide for that specific aspect of themselves.  As there are many interests and areas of an individual in the physical realm, there can also be many Guides who assist that individual.

Spirit Guides are believed to have once lived in the earthly realm living earthly lives.  Some may even have been related to the person they guide or may have been a close friend at one time.  Many Guides are recognized as living a Native American life or may have lived in the Orient during their lifetime.  In the book "This is Spiritualism (1959), Maurice Barbanell wrote, "The North American Indians were masters of psychic laws, with a profound knowledge of supernormal forces and how they operated.  This qualifies them, after their passing, to act as tutors and guides to their mediums."

However; Spirit Guides can be viewed as any type of non-physical being, even an alien type being to some. They may be perceived visually or energetically, by giving a sign through touch, color, or vibration.  Communication between the Spirit Guide and Ourselves is most often telepathic, clairaudient, a (clear hearing) or clairvoyant, a (clear seeing) as if visualizing an image or movie during a state of meditation or while dreaming.

Our Guides will usually come to us for specific purposes such as working with your creative abilities, your healing abilities or health issues, and for your personal spiritual development and growth, and so on.  Our Spirit Guides can also be with you during times accidents to assist you in avoiding accidents.  However; it must be remembered that a Guide cannot control you as your Spirit Guide is there to assist you.

in Astral Planes

The First Astral Plane / Physical / Earth Plane

The Earth Plane is known as the Physical Plane of Three Dimensions.  It is here where our lessons and experiences are obtained to further the soul's ascension.  This is where we as physical beings spend our physical lives learning through our life's lessons through our experiences.  The Nature Spirits, Elementals and Fairy Kingdom work very closely with those who work and find enlightenment with the earth energy.

The Lowest Astral Plane

This Lowest Astral Plane can be categorized as the place of purgatory or hell.  It is the sub-plane within the First Astral Plane.  It is here where one would transcend to for those to find acceptance of their misdeeds and would move towards the correction of them.  This would be a place of murderer's and criminals.  If one believes in demons, this would be where they would reside, closest to the earth plane, the lowest vibratory realm.

The Second Astral Plane

This plane mirrors our physical plane and is the plane which all souls travel to after the change called death.  This astral plane is of non-physical matter, closely relating to our physical reality of matter.  This plane can also be referred to as the 2nd Heaven.  It is a resting place from earth before moving towards the higher dimensions.  Its inhabitants seem to live in physical bodies, wear clothes, and so forth, but of an etheric kind, invisible.  This would be the place where out-of-body experiences and near death experiences occur.  This is where one finds the first Guardian Angels.  This is the emotional plane.  The higher we move up through the Astral, the brighter and more pure the energies become.

The Third Astral Plane

This plane is also associated to the Mental Plane or Thought Plane and is the Universal Consciousness.  It is the plane of reality through illusion, a plane where emotions, passions and creativity reside.  You will also find the Archangels in this Third Plane.  This plane is the closest thing to the Christian concept of paradise.  The most inspired and pure souls from earth pass directly here after death.  It is from this Third Astral Plane or Third Heaven that rebirth back on earth supposedly occurs.  It is here on this level that our true altruistic thoughts, free of desire or selfishness ascend to.  Most Angels and Spiritual beings are found here.

The Fourth Astral Plane

This Astral Plane is where supposedly all great inventions, religious and moral progressions, spiritual leadership and so on come from.  It is here where we ascend to after having left the individualized personality prior to reaching this Fourth Astral Plane.  This plane is the plane of true spiritual insight.  A few rebirths to earth do take place from this higher place; great teachers are sent back for special reasons.  Spiritual Guides are often in this dimension, bringing enhanced knowledge to earth.  An accessible echo of the Akashic Records is found here, and has its origination on this plane.

The Fifth Astral Plane

This plane can also be associated with the term of the Atmic Plane.  It is the first to the third spiritual planes, the place of pure bliss, the highest realm for ascension.  This is the plane of consciousness and of life itself.  Here we find the great Spiritual Masters, and anyone who has achieved true conscious enlightenment.  Reaching this dimension is difficult, it is devoid or without physical state and aspired to by great religious figures, from Jesus to Buddha.

The Sixth Astral Plane

This Astral Plane is beyond any type of matter, dimension or evolution as we know it.  It is the plane of "will" where the ultimate Divine Spiritual Sparks in all living things express themselves and evolve and create on the lower planes.  When reaching this plane, we leave all sense of space, time and self behind.  It is the un-extended individual spiritual substance from which material properties are derived.  It is where the unity of souls is perfected and a kind of Universal Being exists.

The Seventh Astral Plane

The Divine, or Seventh Heaven, it is the God, Father/Mother God, the Alpha & Omega, the Creator.  This is the plane of God, the Source.  This can be thought of as the plane in which nothing but pure untapped energy exists with the ability to create life from itself.  It is in essence, creation.  To reach the Seventh Heaven one has to step not only beyond material and physical reality but beyond mental and individual reality as well.  Everything we do, on earth and in the higher dimensions, is directed toward that final transformation. for there is evolution of the soul in just the same way as there is evolution of the body, or indeed of all life, back on earth.

in Meditation

Meditation is a powerful tool to help you focus clearly on your physical being.  Just as important, it also puts you directly in touch with the universal energy, the life force that runs through all things.  Meditation and prayer sensitize one's consciousness enabling him or her to be more receptive to intuitional guidance and allows us to seek Divine Wisdom to enhance our understanding so that we can act wisely and responsibly.

Meditation is seen as a means to be in union with deity or with the absolute.  Today is is an established practice, not only among various cultures, but among, ordinary, everyday people in all walks of life.  Meditation is described as "a stilling of the mind", "a silent listening" and is not an escape from reality.

Some people are able to meditate anywhere, on a bus or train, and even in a crowded room.  It's been proven that through regular meditation it can be very beneficial in helping to lower blood pressure, relieve stress, and assist in eliminating anxiety.  Meditation is the act of stepping into a space of calm serenity, benefiting the Mind, Body & Soul.

Angels Among Us

in Angels

The creation of angels is unclear to us, though the church speaks about the creation of angels throughout the Bible. There is no definite time as to when the angels were created.  It wasn't until the end of the fourth century that wings started to be depicted on angels, and it wasn't until the Renaissance that child angels began to appear in illustrations.  Most people do not see angels as physical objects.  Some have indeed seen angels as fields of amazing bright light, too bright to stare or look at for long periods of time.  If however; you do see an angel, the angel will most likely take a form that you are willing to accept.

Reality is much more than just what we see and it is much more than what we hear.  Thoughts are powerful and real even though we cannot see them, and so are angels.

To have angels in our lives, we need to welcome them by cultivating and practicing the things that angels vibrate in harmony with.  Angels vibrate to a much higher level and therefore; beauty, prayer, gracious offerings, and simplicity, when practiced with a loving heart, allow us direct co-creative energy with the angels.

Constructive vibrations are important for our work with affirmations, healing and intention.  When we invite the angels to help us in our daily lives, we are then able to experience an immediate transcendental shift in our consciousness.  Angels communicate with us through inspiration and subtle signs.  Everyone receives guidance from angels; some are just more aware of it than others.

in Spiritualism

It was in a simple home located in Hydesville, New York during the month of March in 1848 that communication between the physical and non-physical beings were realized and witnessed through what is now termed as the mediumship of two young girls named and known as Margaret and Kate Fox.

It was during one evening in March that the sounds of rapping and noises were being heard, as if someone was moving furniture across the wooden floors.  Mr. & Mrs. Fox would search the premises as to where these sounds could be originating from, but there was no source that could be found.  The children felt so uneasy by these sounds that they refused to sleep in their bedroom and slept with their parents.  And as days passed the mysterious rapping and shaking sounds of furniture being moved grew more intense with each day that passed.  And it was on the eve of March 31st that young Kate had decided to challenge the unseen force, asking for it to mimic the snapping sounds of her fingers.  Mrs. Fox had witnessed this challenging event with amazement and then realized that this unseen force was able to hear as well as see.

Mrs. Fox began addressing a series of questions and the raps would respond in a numeric fashion also requesting that one rap indicate a reply for "yes" and two raps for "no".  The townspeople had gathered to witness this phenomena in a state of amazement and within the four days following these occurrences, depositions were made and filed by the witnessing townspeople.

The unseen force had communicated through the rappings and had identified himself as a spirit who had been murdered for money at the age of thirty-one (five years prior to this event).  The rapping of the alphabet gave those in attendance the name of the spirit entity as Charles B. Rosma, a traveling peddler.  He had been buried in the cellar, ten feet in depth beneath the house.  The digging began and was stopped suddenly due to the water table being so high at the time.

It wasn't until November of 1904 when an exterior wall 3 feet away from the true cellar was collapsed and the peddlers tin box along with the skeletal bones of a human was found during this excavation.  The tin box in now kept in the Lily Dale Museum in Lily Dale, New York.

in Spiritualism

Those who follow the teachings of Spiritualism believe in Infinite intelligence and that the expressions of Infinite Intelligence are brought to us through the phenomena of nature, both physical as well as spiritual.  It is also believed that you would "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", and that true spirituality is indeed living by that Golden Rule.  A Spiritualist will uphold the belief that an individuals identity does indeed continue on after the transformation of physical death and that the communication with the so called dead is fact, which has scientifically been proven by the phenomena of Spiritualism.  There is also the belief that it is the responsibility of all individuals to create their own happiness or unhappiness by following both nature's physical and spiritual laws and that the oneness of God is in all life.  Those who practice Spiritualism uphold the belief that the doorway to forgiveness is never closed and that it will always remain open to anyone here or hereafter and that prophecy and healing are Divine attributes which are proven through Mediumship.
